Registered Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are dozens of types of massage therapy methods including: Swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, deep tissue massage and pre-natal massage. People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons; to reduce stress and anxiety, relax muscles, rehabilitate injuries, reduce pain, and promote overall health and wellness.

Brittney Young, BHK, RMT

Brittney believes that every body is designed uniquely and each requires an individualized approach. Her focus is on understanding the clients condition and working with the body to find the best method for recovery. In order to accomplish this, Brittney uses myofascial release, Swedish massage, trigger point therapy and muscle energy techniques to discover why the pain is occurring. Her passions for holistic healthcare and the human form bring an ongoing dedication and understanding to her massage practice. She recognizes the importance of injury rehabilitation and prevention, maintenance and self care throughout all aspects of life.
